What a crazy weekend...

We had such a crazy weekend! J was a real trooper and even though he got shots on Thursday, he has been pretty good all weekend.
  • Friday night - Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child box stuffing with our Bible Study Group - we brought a ton of toys, soaps, toothbrushes and more, and our group ended up with over 25 shoe boxes! This year we stuffed them super full to make sure all of the kiddos had a great Christmas... This is a great activity to do with your kiddos and friends.
  • Saturday morning - Baby Shower Brunch - We have been supporting two missionaries to Mongolia for several years, and they are back in the states to have their second daughter! It was great to see them after their 4 year stint in Ulaanbaatar.
  • Saturday evening - Hot Pot Party with friends from undergrad and grad school - We hosted a fun hot pot party (chinese fondue) and then played Settlers of Catan late into the night
  • Sunday morning - Church and Thanksgiving Lunch - We had the big Unstoppable Campaign kick off and lunch. It was so great to see our church of 1000+ folks together at one service.
  • Sunday evening - Birthday Dinner for friend - We met a couple at the Childbirth Class and they have become good friends of ours. So we went out to Cascal to celebrate the husband's birthday.
  • Monday morning - Back to work at my "day job"! I am sad sad to be leaving J to go back part time, but my mother-in-law will be here Friday, yeah!

Wow, what a weekend! David and Jonathan wanted to show you how they feel after all of those activities:

You seem to have a lot of those pictures of them just tuckered out. Good luck with your "day job", it sounds like you already need time off after this weekend. :)

I love the fullness of an active day with back-to-back events! :) And there's nothing like the zonk-out tired feeling, as pictured :)
