Guess who is 4 months old? :)

Yesterday, Jonathan turned 4 months old! A few things about this 4 month old:

• Lives in his swing - and will only get a good nap in that thing for some reason. He can play in there for hours, so I try to limit his time in there to when he needs a nap.
• Hates his crib during the daytime, barely cries when put down to sleep at night. I am not sure why he resists it during the day with pitiful crying the whole time he is in there, but as soon as his little toosh touches the mattress, he starts to whimper.
• Love his little froggy - I am thinking of naming it Jeremiah the Bullfrog. David wanted to name Jonathan Jeremiah, but I did not want the bullfrog thing to follow him the rest of his life!
• Gets annoyed when a shirt or towel is pulled over his head. Makes changing his clothes difficult. Why can they not make more front buttoning things?
• Slept through the night at 2 months (thank goodness!), loves to nap and sleep at night
• Learned to roll from front to back and back to front - likes to do this while playing on his little playmat, but then gets "stuck" and cries for help
• Loves TV - he is not allowed to watch TV at all, but if he is another room and there is a TV on some place, he will scoot all the way around to watch the flickering screen even if it is NewsHour (the most visually boring show on TV) about 15' or 20' away.
• Cries pretty softly, do not not wail (though he used to)
• Laid back about a wet diaper, even if it is soaked completely through, he does not really notice
• Sleeps with is little arms flung over his head and face turned to one side in mock surrender - so cute!
• Is fascinated with the Canon Digital SLR - lets me take endless photos of him on the couches, floor and beds
• Loves to play and fall asleep on Daddy's lap on the couch
• Enjoys his baths, seems tense when first going into the water, but then enjoys floating about in the water
• Has very expressive little toes, clenches when nervous, splays when happy, kicks when upset
• Is the apple of Daddy and Mommy's eye!
